Euroceanica (UK) Limited

This painting was commissioned especially for Euroceanica and the original is displayed in the offices of Rimorchiatori Riuniti Spa in Genoa.

The artist Raimondo Sirotti was born in Bogliasco, near Genoa, in 1934. At the end of the 1950’s he was in Milan, where he became involved in what we now recognize as being the most intense phase of the informal art movement.

Sirotti has exhibited his work at many venues throughout Italy and he has also been invited on several occasions to hold exhibitions outside Italy including Berlin, cities in France, Canada, and New York.

At present he lives and works in Bogliasco, and he holds the position of Director of Genoa’s Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti.
